Tom Stoppard is writing a new play for BBC Radio 2, based on Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of the Moon.” Stoppard is a genius; his plays “Arcadia” and “The Real Thing” are two of the best scripts in English; this will be good.

“I have read the script of Tom’s radio play ‘Dark Side’ and found it fascinating, ” David Gilmour told press. “I can’t wait to hear it come to life with the great cast performing it and our music woven into it.” It airs August 26.
